Colombia is known worldwide for its high-quality Arabica coffee, much of it grown by small producers across the country. The 60–70 farmers behind this lot are based in the towns of Tesalia and Teruel, in the department of Huila — Colombia’s top coffee-producing region.

Huila’s rich volcanic soil, thanks to the Nevado de Huila volcano chain, creates perfect conditions for growing coffee. Recognized with its own designation of origin, Huila is known for coffees with bright acidity, balanced body, and rich sweetness. Despite past conflict in the region, rural producers continue to cultivate some of Colombia’s finest coffees.
